Jazz: > Cool Cats There are three Jazz ensembles: Vocal Jazz, Jazz II and Jazz I. Vocal Jazz Vocal Jazz consists of students that want to experience the jazz technique of singing. This includes microphone technique and scat soloing and other numerous jazz styles. Jazz II This is Baby Jazz. Students enter this group with little or no knowledge of Jazz basics. They learn these basics, and come out with the basics "down pat".They meet every day 2 at 7:30 am! Jazz I This is the Senior Jazz. An auditioned group, the musicians enter with a basic knowledge of Jazz, and come out with their minds full and enriched. Thier playing ability is challenged at every rehearsal.
