Instrumental Beauty
The Seaquam Music Department currently has three concert bands: Beginning Concert Band, Intermediate Concert Band, and Senior Concert Band. The Final Concert on Wednesday, June 5th, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. will be showcasing these ensembles. The Beginning Concert Band is made up of students in Grade 8 and 9 that have never played an instrument before. In this ensemble, they are taught how to play their instrument, how to read music, and basic musicianship that promotes them to be a better player. The Intermediate Concert Band is made up of students from Grades 8 thru 10 that have played an instrument for at least one year. In this ensemble, students are taught how to better thier skills and challenge their technique. The Senior Concert Band is made up of students from Grade 10 thru 12. In this ensemble, students are challenged to master their skills with challenging pieces and learn how to be a better musician.
